I finished reading Dune today.  I've never been sorrier I committed time to a book.  Holy smokes, that was the most boring novel I've ever made myself sit through.  I had such high hopes!  So many people whose opinions I respect love Dune.  All I can think is that the movie is more entertaining than the book, and they've merged the two in their ( Read more... )
